Mourning On Eid In Pakistan: The Bus Carrying People To Sufi Dargah Shah Noorani Fell Into A Ditch, 17 Died And Around 40 Injured

Peshawar : On one hand, the Muslim population of the entire world was celebrating Eid on Wednesday, while there was mourning in many homes of Pakistan. It is being told that a bus carrying people to Sufi Dargah suddenly went out of control and fell into a deep ditch. In this accident, 17 people including several members of the same family died, while around 40 people were also injured. Information about this tragic accident that happened yesterday came to light on Thursday.

The accident took place in Hub, the border town of Sindh and Balochistan provinces of Pakistan. According to the information received, some people living in Thatta city of Sindh province were going to Muslim Sufi Dargah Shah Noorani located in a remote area of Khuzdar district of Balochistan on Wednesday. On the way, about 100 kilometers away from Karachi, his bus suddenly went out of control and fell into a ditch.

Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed condolences

This is confirmed by a statement by Pakistan Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi. Expressing condolences on the incident, he said that on the occasion of Eid, people leaving Thatta at around 2 pm met with an accident at around 8 pm. It seems the driver lost control at a turn, causing the bus to fall into a ditch. On the other hand, a police officer of Hub said that the dead and injured have been taken to Civil Hospital, Karachi. Many of those killed belonged to the same family.
