A Fraudulent Woman Brought Old Man’s Dead Body In The Bank, Tried To Take A Loan Pretending Alive

A fraudulent woman reached with the dead body of an elderly man in Brazil. Not only this, he also tried to take a loan in his name by pretending that the old man was alive. This entire incident has been captured in a video and is now going viral on social media. After finding out, the police have registered a criminal case against him on charges of cheating and ill-treatment of a dead body. However, the accused woman says that she did not bring the dead body. When she reached the bank with her uncle, he was still alive.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, in a video recorded on Tuesday, it can be seen that the woman reaches the bank carrying an elderly man in a wheelchair. She says to the old man. ‘Uncle Paulo, are you listening?’ This woman named Erica de Souza Vieira Nunes tells the old man, ‘You have to sign this. There is no way if you don’t sign it. I can’t sign it for you’ but Paulo Roberto Braga doesn’t respond. In fact the person sitting in the wheelchair was not alive. The woman had reached the bank with the dead body.

On the other hand, the police have started investigation by registering a case against 42-year-old Nunes on charges of fraud and ill-treatment of a dead body. The police are now trying to find out what was the relationship between the old man and the woman and how Braga died. Apart from this, the person who brought them to the incident site is also being searched.

In this regard, lead investigator Fabio Souza said that 42-year-old Nunes had brought the body of 68-year-old Braga to a bank in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday afternoon to take a loan of about $ 3,250 (INR 2,71,588.36). Anyone can tell by watching the video that he is dead. Despite this she was touching him even though she knew he was dead. According to the police officer, in the initial investigation, this woman named Nunes has described herself to the investigators as Braga’s niece and caregiver. He said Braga was alive when they entered the bank.
