Lakshagrih Case: The ADJ court has given its verdict on the Lakshgriha and Mazar dispute in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. After the memorandum, Hindus have got another big victory. Let us tell you that for the last 50 years there is a dispute going on in Baghpat regarding Lakshgriha and the tomb of Badruddin Shah. Now the Hindu side has got the ownership rights on 100 bighas of land and tomb. The court has accepted that this is not a tomb, but a Lakshagriha built by the Kauravas due to their conspiracy to kill the Pandavas during the Mahabharata period.

The dispute started in the year 1970, when Muqeem Khan, on behalf of the Muslim side, had filed a case regarding the ownership rights of about 100 bighas of land of the mound, calling the Lakshgriha mound as the tomb and graveyard of Badruddin Shah. In this, celibate Krishnadutt Maharaj was made the defendant.

Evidence from Mahabharata period was found

Hindu side’s lawyer Ranveer Singh said that the Muslim side wants to capture 100 bighas of land by calling it a graveyard and a tomb. He has presented all the evidence regarding the same before the court, whereas the history of Lakshagriha dates back to the Mahabharata period. The country and the world know about this. There are also clues from the Sanskrit school and the Mahabharata period on the Lakshagriha mound.

ASI had excavated here and recovered the remains of ancient civilization, on the basis of which the Hindu side claimed that the entire part including the tomb belonged to the Mahabharata period and demanded ownership rights from the court.
