Joe Biden And Donald Trump Won Primary Elections In Four More States, Now Both Will Fight In November

Washington : US President Joe Biden and his Republican rival former President Donald Trump have easily won the primary elections in four more states. Now it is considered certain that there will be a close contest between the two again in the presidential elections in November.

On April 2, primary elections were held in four states, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Wisconsin. However, these primary elections are now just a formality, because Biden and Trump have already qualified for nomination from their respective parties. Both have received the support of the required delegates. In these elections organized by the Democratic and Republican parties for the presidential candidacy, Trump got more than 75 percent votes and Biden got more than 80 percent votes.

After the latest elections in four states, Trump now has the support of 1860 delegates and Biden has the support of 3,030 delegates. His nomination to become presidential candidate will be confirmed at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July and the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August.
