Anna Hazare’s Big Statement On Delhi Liquor Policy Case; Said-Kejriwal Arrested Because Of His Own Actions

New Delhi : The first reaction of famous social worker Anna Hazare on the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has come to light. Anna Hazare said, “We were against liquor. Arvind also supported us in that. I was very saddened by the liquor policy he made. I even wrote a letter to him for that. He has been arrested because of his actions.” “Whatever happens now, the law will see.” Let us tell you that Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday evening in the alleged liquor policy scam.

The case pertains to alleged corruption and money laundering in the formulation and implementation of the Excise Policy of the Delhi Government for 2021-22. This policy was later canceled. AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh are in judicial custody in the case.

Wrote a letter to Kejriwal

Even before this, Anna Hazare had fiercely targeted Kejriwal regarding the liquor policy of Delhi. A few years ago, Anna Hazare, upset over the liquor policy, had written a letter to Delhi CM Kejriwal. Anna had asked Arvind Kejriwal in a letter that he should close the liquor shops in Delhi. He said that Arvind Kejriwal had talked big in the book Swaraj, but its effect is not visible in his conduct. Like alcohol is intoxicating, power is also intoxicating. It seems that you too have been intoxicated by such power.”
