Now America Will Also Ban TikTok; Know Why It Is Called As Chinese Weapon?

After India, the popular social media app TikTok is now going to be banned in America also. Describing it as a weapon of China, preparations have been completed to ban it. Yesterday, a bill was introduced in the US House of Representatives on this issue and voting took place on it. Chinese company ByteDance, which owns TikTok, will have to sell its stake within six months of the implementation of the bill.

Let us tell you that on May 1, 2020, there was a direct clash between the Indian and Chinese armies in the North Bank area of Pangong Tso Lake in eastern Ladakh. Dozens of soldiers from both sides were injured in this. After this, on June 15, once again there was a conflict in Galwan Valley, in which Colonel Santosh and 20 other soldiers of the Indian Army lost their lives. However, China also had to suffer manifold losses in this. Amidst the tension between the two countries, on June 29, 2020, India had banned 59 apps including the social media app Tik Tok.

Then one by one many countries banned Tik Tok and the discussion started on the dangers posed by it. Opponents say that TikTok collects people’s personal information and misuses it. Researchers at an Australian cyber company published a report on cyber security in July 2022, in which it was said that a special device has been used in the TikTok app, which stores users’ data. The user’s behavior, his thinking and even his actions are evaluated. China was accused of spying through TikTok.

Donald Trump also presented a proposal to ban this app

In 2020 itself, during the presidency of Donald Trump, Trump had also presented a proposal to ban this app, calling it a threat to national security. American government agencies had ordered their employees to remove it from their mobile phones. When China accused China of trying to put pressure on America, Trump withdrew the proposal after it became an issue in the international media. Now this app has been banned in New Zealand, Britain, European Union, Belgium, Denmark, Canada, Taiwan, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan. Now similar preparations are being made in America also, whereas there are about 17 crore users in the country. A bill was introduced in the House of Representatives and voting took place on it. Through this, a condition has been placed before China that ByteDance should sell its stake in TikTok within 6 months. If this does not happen then TikTok will be banned in America.
