Suddenly his eyes stopped on the child’s eyes because he saw something strange like white light in them. He immediately left his other work and turned on the flashlight of his smartphone and looked carefully. Then when she started gathering information about this on the internet, her concern increased manifold. Sarah immediately consulted the doctor about this and when the investigation report came out, it was proved that Thomas had retinoblastoma cancer. After this the treatment of this rare type of cancer started.

According to the New York Post, he underwent six sessions of chemotherapy in November 2022 and after the last chemotherapy on May 10, 2023, he is completely fine. On the other hand, talking about the seriousness of retinoblastoma cancer, according to Richard Ashton, Chief Executive Officer of The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT), apart from white glow, changed appearance or swelling of the eye are symptoms of this cancer. In about 50 percent of the cases, if timely treatment is not provided, the affected eye of the patient has to be removed.
