He said that after visualizing the orbits of these stars in the data obtained from the observations of the Gaia telescope, two new structures were seen. The chemical composition of these stars is completely unique. We have named them ‘Shiv’ and ‘Shakti’.
For this research, astronomers combined data from the Gaia telescope with stellar spectra data from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). Information about the chemical composition of these stars was obtained from SDSS data. Khyati Malhan says that we have found indications that ‘Shiva’ and ‘Shakti’ may have a very important role in the formation of our galaxy. Research is being done to find out this.
