US Presidential Poll 2024: Defeating Nikki Haley Donald Trump Wins New Hampshire Primary Election

Washington. US Presidential Poll 2024: Indian American Nikki Haley and former President Donald Trump are all set for the US presidential elections to be held in November this year. The process of leveling allegations and counter-allegations against each other is also continuing. Meanwhile, despite Nikki Haley being a strong candidate, former US President Donald Trump has won the New Hampshire primary election.

Leading from Nikki by so many votes

Major US media outlets have reported the Republican primary race to be in Trump’s favor with one-quarter of the votes counted. Of the counted votes, Trump is leading with 52.5 percent and Haley is leading with 46.6 percent. According to political pundits, Haley performed much better than expected. She is the only Republican left in the race against the powerful Trump.

Trump is the first non-incumbent Republican presidential candidate

By winning the New Hampshire primary after the Iowa caucus, Trump has made the strongest claim to become the Republican Party candidate. Notably, Trump is the first non-incumbent Republican presidential candidate to achieve consecutive victories in both the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary.

Won the New Hampshire primary three times

Trump is the only Republican candidate to win the New Hampshire primary three times. ‘This is a decisive victory for Donald Trump tonight,’ Vivek Ramaswamy, a former Republican presidential candidate with 20 percent of the vote, told Fox News. He said Haley’s withdrawal from the race in favor of Trump would be the right thing for the former South Carolina governor. Haley congratulated Trump on his victory in New Hampshire and told her supporters in Concord, “I want to congratulate Donald Trump tonight on his victory.”
