BJP leader Ranjit Srinivasan Murder Case: A court in Kerala has sentenced 15 convicts to death in the murder case of Bharatiya Janata Party Other Backward Classes Morcha leader Ranjit Srinivasan in the coastal district of Alappuzha in December 2021. It is known that the convicted people belong to the banned radical Islamic group ‘Popular Front of India’ (PFI).
The family welcomed the decision
Mavelikkara Additional Sessions Judge VG Sridevi found all 15 accused guilty of murder and decided to pronounce sentence on January 22. However, today Mavelikara Additional District Judge V.G. Sridevi has sentenced the culprits in the case. The family is very happy with this decision and they believe that they have got justice.
Murdered in front of wife, child and mother
The prosecution had sought maximum punishment for the culprits, saying they were a trained killing squad. In a brutal and diabolical manner, the victim was killed in front of his mother, child and wife, following which the family demanded justice and the harshest possible punishment.
